Amy Diouf, the woman in blue, is the head nurse of a village called Diamal in northern Senegal. She struggles in the mud, crosses lakes, and takes horse-drawn carts to track and treat malaria cases. Amy is one of many women who are incredibly committed to the fight against malaria.

Gnagna Dieng is the focal point for Malaria and NTD's and the only woman working in the field for MACEPA Senegal. She works in northern Senegal and is very popular in the health facilities because of the great job she has been doing there for years.
